Terms of Use

Effective: 2026-09-29

These terms set the conditions for using Robopedia (robopedia.ai, the "Service"), run by Libertron (주식회사 리버트론) (the "Company"). Anyone can use the Service without an account; by using it you agree to these terms.

This English version is provided for convenience; the Korean version prevails.

At a glance

Run by AI
Finding, selecting, writing, translating and publishing stories, and deciding on reports, is done by generative AI (Art. 4).
Accuracy
Stories are for information and can be wrong. Check the original before important decisions (Art. 5).
Takedown
If your rights are infringed you can ask us to remove content or publish a rebuttal (Art. 8).

Art. 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the rights and obligations of the Company and users and the conditions of using the Service.

Art. 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means everything the Company provides at robopedia.ai: robotics and physical-AI news, paper summaries, the robot catalog, the report feature and more.
  2. "User" means anyone who accesses the Service.
  3. "Report" means a message a user sends to flag an error or gap in a story, the catalog or the site, and the conversation that follows.
  4. "AI crew" means the automated systems that run the Service (intake, triage, writing, schematics, catalog, report review, development). Triage, writing and translation, catalog extraction, report review and development are done by generative AI.
  5. "Content" means everything published on the Service: stories, summaries, catalog data, reports and replies.

Art. 3 (Posting and changing these terms)

The terms are linked at the bottom of every page. We announce changes 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that disadvantage you) and log them in the changelog. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

Art. 4 (What the Service is — AI notice)

Finding, selecting, writing, translating and publishing stories, and reviewing and replying to reports, is done by generative artificial intelligence. A human operator sets the direction, checks stories after publication, and orders corrections or retractions. This is the prior notice required by Article 31 of Korea's AI Basic Act.

Every story and every AI reply is labeled as AI-generated. How it works is described in our AI & editorial policy. The operator can pause auto-publishing at any time; while paused, the operator reads each draft before it goes live.

Art. 5 (Nature and limits of AI-generated content)

Stories, summaries and catalog data are for information and may contain errors — especially numbers, specs, prices and translations. Before any purchase, investment or safety decision, check the original sources and the manufacturer's materials yourself. Nothing on the Service is investment or purchase advice.

Art. 6 (Reports and AI conversations)

  1. Anyone may report an error. A display name is optional.
  2. Don't include personal data (contact details, ID numbers) about yourself or others.
  3. A generative AI checks each report against the original sources, decides whether to change the story or keep it, and replies with its reasons. You can keep the conversation going; after a set number of turns, or when a human judgment is needed (legal requests, price claims and the like), it goes to the operator.
  4. When a report leads to a change, the change is published in the changelog. Your display name is shown only if you opt in.
  5. A report conversation can only be opened with the token stored on the device that sent it.

Art. 7 (Prohibited conduct)

  • Knowingly false reports, or bad-faith repetition of the same report
  • Defamatory or insulting content, or content exposing personal data
  • Advertising, spam, or automated bulk submissions
  • Attempts to manipulate the system, such as instructions meant to make the AI do something other than its job
  • Anything that disrupts the Service (excessive requests, attacks on vulnerabilities)

We may hide or delete such reports and rate-limit repeat offenders. We never publicly name anyone for a bad-faith report; we only publish the number rejected.

Art. 8 (Removal and temporary measures)

This is the procedure under Article 44-2 of Korea's Network Act.

  1. Anyone whose privacy, reputation or other rights are infringed by content on the Service (stories, summaries, catalog data, reports and replies) may, explaining the infringement, ask for the content to be removed or for a rebuttal to be published. Send requests to contact@robopedia.ai.
  2. Include the URL of the content, the right infringed and why, the action requested (removal or rebuttal), and how to reach you. Agents need proof of authority.
  3. On receiving a request we promptly remove the content, restrict access or take other necessary measures, and immediately notify the requester and (where identifiable) whoever posted it. The measure is noted on the page or in the changelog.
  4. Where infringement is hard to judge or a dispute between the parties is likely, we may temporarily block access to the content for up to 30 days.
  5. The person who posted the content (for example a reporter) may object and ask for it to be restored; we review the objection, decide, and report the outcome.
  6. Stories written by the AI are treated as posted by the Company and follow the same procedure. Timelines are set out in our copyright, correction and takedown policy.

Art. 9 (Correction requests)

Report factual errors with the "report an error" link on each story or on the report page. The AI reviews it first and replies; if a human decision is needed we tell you within 3 days whether we accept it and publish an accepted correction within 7 days. Every correction is logged in the changelog.

Art. 10 (Ownership)

  1. Rights in the original articles belong to their authors. The Service links to and credits them, and does not copy their sentences or photos.
  2. Rights in the Service's design, editorial arrangement and software belong to the Company. Rights in AI-generated output follow applicable law.
  3. You grant the Company a free licence to use your reports to correct stories and improve the Service, including publishing them as correction records and replies. Your display name is published only if you opt in.

Art. 11 (External links and embeds)

The Service links to and embeds external content (original articles, manufacturer materials, YouTube videos). Those sites are responsible for their own content and privacy practices.

Art. 12 (Changes and interruptions)

We may change or stop all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. We run a kill switch that stops automated intake and publishing immediately when something goes wrong, which can delay updates. Major changes or long interruptions are announced in advance.

Art. 13 (Limitation of liability)

The Service is free, and the Company does not warrant that AI-written content is complete or accurate. The Company is nevertheless liable under applicable law for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence. Liability may be excluded where the Service cannot be provided for reasons beyond the Company's control, such as natural disasters or outages of external services (hosting, database).

Art. 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The competent court for disputes is determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These terms take effect on 2026-09-29.
