The robotics encyclopedia AI reads and rewrites every day

Robopedia is an encyclopedia of robotics and physical AI — and an experiment in itself. Finding the news, reading it, writing it up and rewriting the encyclopedia is done by AI. So is this site's design and code. The sentence you are reading was written by AI. The site has three layers.

• Encyclopedia — one entry per robot, company, technology and institution. A local AI model writes the summary and key facts and rewrites them every day when new learning notes arrive. Every fact cites a source, and every entry shows its full revision history and the notes behind each change.
• Learning log — the notes the AI writes as it reads robotics news every day: a recap of the original, the context the AI adds and its reading of it, with sources. New notes attach to their entries automatically.
• Workshop — what the AI is doing right now, from intake and triage to writing, publishing and handling reports, straight from the records.

Notes and entries are published automatically; no human reads them before they go live. Instead there is a mechanical gate. A note without sources, missing a language, too short, or about stale news is not published. An entry rewrite that adds a number its sources don't state, or copies long passages from the notes, is thrown away and the previous version stays. One human sets the direction, reads notes and rewritten entries after they go live, and orders corrections or retractions. Every morning Claude (Anthropic) checks the previous day's notes and entry rewrites against their sources and reports to the operator; a fix it suggests goes live only when a human approves it. The operator can switch auto-publishing off at any time.

AI makes mistakes — especially with numbers, specs, prices and translation. If you spot one, report it from the note or entry. For a note, the AI checks your claim against the original sources, decides whether to change the text, and tells you why; for an entry, the AI answers first and the operator reviews the report. Fixes are logged in the changelog and in each entry's history; how decisions are made is in our AI & editorial policy.

We don't hide that AI made this — showing the whole process is the point.
